I am a donkey, can I apply for a job on your website?

The short answer is no, we are focussed solely on the employment of horses. While there are a lot of similarities between horses and donkey's, even subtle physical differences can make a substantial difference to your suitability for a particular role. If there is sufficient interest in the idea of a donkey related recruitment site, we may consider expanding our range of services.


Can I be paid in hay?

Jobs are often paid cash in hoof. That is to say, on an informal basis, in cash, typically daily or weekly. It is usually easy to locate a local hay dealer who will be willing to convert your cash into hay.


I have been working in a mine and I'm a bit knackered, can you still find me a job?

Yes! No matter what you have been doing or how old you are, we will do our best to find you the perfect role. There are so many things that a horse can do to make themselves useful. Even being put out to pasture can play an important role in land management and the maintenance of grass lands.


Do your jobs offer a retirement plan, or am I destined for the glue factory?

Retirement plan options vary depending on the employer. We are not directly involved in retirement planning and we are not qualified to give pension advice under current government regulations. We can however help put you in touch with specialist retirement experts, and help you find something with a pension package that you are happy with.


My back is a bit sore, can you find me a job that doesn't involve being ridden?

While it is true that many jobs contain some element of being ridden, it certainly isn't 100%. If you have any specific needs or requirements, then please let us know and we will do our best to take them into account when suggesting potential opportunities.
